A man by the name of Steve Stephens decided it would be a brilliant idea to live stream himself on Facebook, shooting a RANDOM 74 YEAR OLD MAN in Cleveland, Ohio. Never in my life have I ever heard of such a dumb mistake.
The victim, Robert Godwin, had just come from an Easter lunch. I myself had an Easter lunch the other day, and I reached home perfectly safe. Godwin on the other hand, didn’t. He lived 74 YEARS, just to die by RANDOMLY getting shot. Just take a moment, and let that sink in.
The killer was on the loose, but after a few days, he was recognized in a McDonald’s drive through (God Bless whoever recognized him and called 911).
After a furious car chase with the police, he decided to kill himself by inflicting a gunshot wound on his head.
I’m actually sad that this guy died through a self-inflicted injury, because if it was up to me, I would have let him roam the streets, walk up to him, and shoot him in the head – JUST like he did to Godwin. So that he can die a slow, and painful death, and go through the SAME EXACT PAIN Godwin went through.
Deuteronomy 19:21 – Life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth hand for hand, foot for foot. In case you didn’t catch it, LIFE FOR A F**CKI*NG LIFE.
The thing that really pisses me off about this case is it wasn’t an accident. It wasn’t a car crush, or a heart attack, it was a man, who woke up that morning, decided to act like a total bat sh*t IDIOT and MURDER an innocent life.
If this is the America you live in, then you are utterly, without any doubt, f*ck*d. I am not from America, but this has angered me to the point where I believe that I should cry for help, and let my voice be heard around the world.
All in all, this experience has taught me to appreciate life for exactly what it is. Whether served on a platter, or on a bowl, I’m finna take it.
If you are reading this, just take a moment with me to thank God that we are still alive and not somewhere in the gutter fighting for our last breathes.
**Joy Lane, I’m sorry for all that you have gone through. I know that it must be very hard to deal with such an Ex-Boyfriend, and the pressures of social media. You are in my prayers.
“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Robert Godwin Sr., and we have a lot of work — and we will keep doing all we can to prevent tragedies like this from happening,” Zuckerberg.
